The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Provides direct and indirect supervision of Radiologic Technology students. Participates in CQI activities. Participates in on call, weekend and holiday schedules.

Essential Duties:
**Internal team members who apply for a role that has a sign on bonus for external candidates, will not be eligible for the sign on bonus. Team members who have been gone from CMH for one year or more are eligible for a sign on bonus payment.
Education and Experience:
• High School graduate.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• ARRT certification.
• Licensed by the state of Maine to practice and administer radiation.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required. Renewal due within one month of expiration.
• Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

• Ability to operate x-ray equipment.
• Ability to prioritize and use critical thinking skills

• Ability to remain calm in a busy or stressful situation
