Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Full Time, Practice Coder to join our  team!

The Practice Coder is accountable for the coding of outpatient provider practices and ancillary services, including laboratory, radiology, PT/OT/Speech therapies. Responsibilities include the assignment of CPT and ICD-10 codes based on documentation, and ensuring encounters are coded accurately and timely.

• Certified AAPC /AHIMA coder with 2 or more years of previous experience as medical coder.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding principles
• Knowledge of CPT coding principals
• Experience with physician E/M coding preferred.
