Overview

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our Breast Care Center team! 

 

This is a per diem, flexible schedule position. 

 

The Opportunity:

 

The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic mammographic procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.

 

Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their total breast care. Participates in CQI activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate; BS degree preferred.
  • Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology: either college affiliated or hospital trained.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in radiography and certified/board eligible in mammography
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required within one month of expiration.
  • Thorough understanding of anatomy, positioning.
